2009 Train Festival at Nantou County start on date of July 19th at Jhuo Shuei station, Ji Ji station, and Shuei Li station. The festival will last till August 23ird, the CK124 steam train will attending the festival, and every station also has its own shows to welcome all the tourists. Magistrate Lee suggests parents can bring their kids with whole family came to Nantou and join the festival during the summer vacation.  The grand opening ceremony start at Jhuo Shuei station. Magistrate Lee held the opening ceremony for the Taiwan Train museum. He took CK124 train with honorable guests to the next stop Ji Ji station. When the train arrived the station, folks from Ji Ji Township gave Magistrate Lee a big welcome ceremony. There are several talent shows and lot of visitors came from different places. Director of Ji Ji Township says Train Festival is one of the biggest events in town, therefore, all the folks who live in Ji Ji Township are exciting, and celebrating.  Magistrate Lee says this is the 3 annual train festival in Nantou County, and every train station has their own topic for the festival. This year every station has their own topics, such as the good old time of Jhuo Shuie, fashion in Ji Ji, and the Magic Shuei Li. The grand opening at Ji Ji start at the dancing show present by the kindergarden children. Lot of tourists gathering around, and gave these children a big hands.  Legistlator Ming Jhen Lin says it is very exciting to see people back to Nantou, and he recognize the achievement of County government working hard to develop the tourist business. This will help residents in Nantou increase their income. We should keep going for our folks.
