    After many years of planning, the groundbreaking ceremony of the “Puli Local Characteristic Miniature Industrial Park” was held on September 30th. The construction will be accomplished with completion forecast for August 2018. The County Magistrate Lin Ming-chen indicated that by that time, the best environment in Puli for investment will be provided, and welcome enterprises to invest and locate.

    The Legislator Ma Wen-jun, the County Councilors Xu A-gan, Lin Fang-yu, Liao Xhi-cheng, Wu Guo-chang, Wang Cai-yun and Qui Mei-ling, the Head of Puli Township Zhou Yi-xiong, the Chairman of Township Representative Council Office Cai Wen-zhong and the Vice Chairman Huang Shi-fang all passionately participate in the ceremony.

    The County Magistrate Mr. Lin indicated that the local characteristic miniature industrial park is not just a real high-level food industrial park, it creates extra 1,000 job opportunities. It takes 3 minutes to get to the industrial park from the interchange of No.6 highway with convenient transportation. Although the land is only large enough for 7 companies. It’s suggested that companies interested in locating in this area should look forward to the new opportunities. It hopes that the construction will be accomplished within the schedule and get connected by adjacent hot spring area of Fuxing farm for the future prosperous development in Puli area.

    The Puli local characteristic miniature industrial park is in the neighborhood of Lanchen Water Treatment Plant on Zhongzheng Road in Lanchen Li and next to the Bodhi Evergreen Community. Its total area of land is 5 acres with designated 3 acres for industrial use by 7 companies. And the rest 2 acres is designated for green landscaping including 2 ecological detention pools surrounded by a 10 to 20 meters wide greenbelt and facilities, service center and the water treatment facilities, etc. The future development will be in the type of “food processing industry as the major, the biotechnology industry as the supportive.”

    The Legislator Mr. Ma indicated that County Magistrate Mr. Lin’s contribution to the public issues and the local needs are appreciated. The development of good mountains and water places in Nantou will be developed step by step. She is optimistic about the planning of the miniature industrial park. And she will provide her best assists whenever needed.

    The Head of Township Zhou mentioned that the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Micro-industrial park was finally held, and the citizens must have seen the efforts that the County Magistrate made. It hopes that the settings in the park can be an extra to the future development of Puli. The County Councilor Hsu hoped that the construction company should follow the green power policy during constructing. She also looked forward to the successful construction will promote the local tourism.
