    The 2018 Nantou Year-End Party took place on December 31st in the Nantou County Stadium and in Cingjing. Thousands of people enthusiastically flocked into the stadium, and the County Magistrate Lin Min-chen led the team of the County Government to join the fun event. The evening party was filled with vitality and glamor, and people gathered together for the final countdown to welcome the new year and pass on the big happiness ball. The Deputy Magistrate Chen Zheng-sheng used online video streaming to join the happy event and welcome the new year of 2018.

    Many stars got together in the evening party held at the stadium. The party was hosted by Chen Da-tian (Xiao Xia) and Yuan Yuan, and the optimal performance teams in the locality and the singers of the folk music period were invited. Also, independent music bands consisting of young men all over Taiwan performed rock music and brought out the lively atmosphere. Afterwards, popular pop singers with young people sang song relays and Ceng Pei-ci performed the grand finale. In Cingjing, the party was hosted by LA-a and Yao Yao. The themed electronic music party with performers including DJ BELLA, DJ Jinmao, Party brothers and Under Lover took turns singing songs. There was a creative scene integrated by star observation and artificial snow on site, while the fireworks show brought the lively atmosphere at the end.

    Magistrate Lin indicated that in order to take all ages into consideration, the County Government planned the Year-End Party for families, and arranged a variety of programs in the hope of making all ages in a family have fun. Seeing everyone here sitting together with ease, Country Magistrate Lin is glad to invite everyone to see each other again next year. The Deputy County Magistrate Chen indicated that in order to meet young people’s interest, the creative evening party integrated electrical music, a starry sky and artificial snow in the hope of reminding people of Cingjing for the year-end celebration.

    The County Government has put efforts on promoting the local culture and encouraging more citizens to participate in the event, in addition to inviting famous artists to perform the programs, there is also a bustling market stand along the stadium including local agricultural products, delicacies, cultural products and the entertainment experience activity. A lucky draw is also held on site providing abundant prizes including electrical motorcycles, vacuum robots, broadband networks, and meal and room vouchers for famous restaurants and hotels. The Members of County Council Yu Hsiu-ying, Tseng Chen-yen, Chen Han-li and the City Mayor Sung Huai-lin all joined the final countdown to welcome the new year.
