Senior citizens apply for false teeth subsidy. The county government funded 17 million NTD for addition expenditures
  Ruilong Senior Club, Zhushan held a senior talents seminar on February 28. County Magistrate Lin Ming-chen attended to show his support. He expressed that the senior citizen’s false teeth subsidy provided by the county government is well-received. In this year, the fund has been used up. The county government is going to provide NT$17 million additional funds to satisfy the senior citizens’ needs in maintaining their good health.

  County Magistrate Lin expressed that the county government launched the false teeth subsidy for senior citizens for the first time in 2017. All the fund was used up with plenty of applications. It is obvious that senior citizens really need this benefit. Therefore, for this year the county government has prepared a NT$ 32 million budget. But it is still not enough. To solve the problem, it has prepared NT$17 million more funds. County Magistrate Lin said that as senior citizens need help, the county government will endeavor to satisfy their needs. The Department of Social Affairs expressed that senior citizens are eager to apply for the false teeth subsidy. At present, there has been more than 1,300 applications.

  During the seminar, County Magistrate Lin also invited the senior people to hike around Ruilong Waterfall after the session. County Magistrate Lin expressed that he had been working on the reconstruction of Ruilong Waterfall when he was a lawmaker. Now, its results are beginning to emerge. In the future, the county government is going to invest NT$ 40 million to improve the quality of the access road Tou Route-52 to make tourism and transportation more convenient. Councilor Hsu Su-Hsia also attended the seminar to express her appreciation.

  From the parking lot at Ruilong Waterfall, there is a 1km distance trip, including the hanging bridge and the trail. It only takes an hour to travel back and forth. As the construction of the trail is completed, it will become an ideal place for the whole family to go picnicking. The opening hours of the park is from 9am to 4pm. The admission for adults is NT$50; discounted at NT$30; and concessions for NT$10. For drivers, they can take National Highway 3 and get off at Zhushan Interchange or Nanyun Interchange. Drive through downtown Zhushan, then turn to Linan Road (County Highway 149) and go straight. Turn left in front of Ruixin Bridge and enter Pingding Road (Tou Route 52).
