    The second employee monthly meeting of 2019 of the Nantou County Government was held on June 25 morning at the hall on the B2 floor. Over 300 civil servants of the county government and subordinate agencies attended the meeting. A commendation ceremony was held at the meeting to commend civil servants with outstanding performance and units with outstanding performance in project implementation. Apart from presenting prizes to award-winners, Deputy Magistrate Cheng-sheng Chen thanked the employees for their contributions that facilitated the implementation of county affairs.

    A total of 33 staff and units were commended, including the model civil servants of 2019, units and staff with outstanding performance in service attitude as evaluated in the second half of 2018, the top three township/city offices in the public business development evaluation in 2018, outstanding maintenance workers of 2019, zero-crime villages in 2018, hospitals and clinics with outstanding performance in implementing the hospital and clinic influenza prevention plan in 2018, and personnel with outstanding performance in traffic safety maintenance.

    To care for the employee’s health, the county government enhanced public service on June 23 Public Service Day and invited Tun-tze Tan, wife of the late nephrologist and toxicologist Dr. Chieh-liang Lin and a registered nurse at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, as the keynote speaker delivering a keynote on “Easy Life Without Toxins.” In the speech, Tan exchanged ideas with the attendees in a friendly manner and explained health concepts that are easy, happy and convenient to be achieved by all, in order to enjoy an easy life without toxins.
