    At the grand opening for Nantou Global Tea Expo on October 10, the first day of the National Day holidays, the venue was already crowded with people in the morning. The exhibition equipment was enhanced this year, including being equipped with air-conditioning in the tea exhibition area and tea equipment area. The house-type canopies were also larger and more luxurious, while visitors were more comfortable visiting, and vendors were looking forward to a good sales performance. County Magistrate Mingchen Lin said that visitors could visit the Tea Expo to spend your money to buy fine tea without hesitation.

    The Nantou Tea Expo entered the 10th year in 2010, which establishes a very supreme reputation. All the venues were around Chung Hsing Playground. This year’s activities were from 10th to 20th. These 10-day events included thousands of people tea party, thousands of people kneading tea, thousands of people pounding tea, and music tea party which the public were looking forward. There were Dongding Oolong Tea Hall, an activity to experience the tea by your six senses, and the explore the fun of drinking tea in an ancient way by Tea and Music.

    On the afternoon of the 10th, the “Ten Years for Tea Expo, Famous Calligraphers Calligraph” event was held in the Activity Center of National Chung-Hsing Senior High School, inviting Humo Li, Hsiya Cheng and 31 other masters of painting to celebrate with at least 3 pieces of calligraphies and paintings by each artist which added a strong and elegant cultural atmosphere for “A Decade’s Bounty” 10th anniversary of Tea Expo. In addition, the “Thousands of People Kneading Tea” activity also was held in the Chung Hsing Playground, through the camera drones, thousands of people kneading tea gathering in a radial shape. This scene was quite spectacular, and County Magistrate Mingchen Lin took the lead in the demonstration of kneading tea on the stage to experience the fun with visitors.
