    On the dawn of May 13, Magistrate Lin led around 50 people, including directors and deputy directors from various departments, consultants and secretaries, to experience “Nantou County Zhanghe Community Hanlong Trail Hiking and Environment Education Seminar.” Participants posed happily for group pictures after finishing the trail. They expect to be role models in encouraging people to go outdoors to exercise during the period of epidemic fighting.

    Participants of this event included first-class executives (deputy executives), consultants, secretaries and executives (deputy executives) of subordinated first-class units, with a total of around 50 people. The hiking trail starts off from the parking lot of Nantou Junior High School’s activity center and went by Hanlong Trail entrance at Zhanghe Village, Healthy Trail, Forest Shed Trail, Scenic Bridge, Sunshine Coconut Wood (includes front section cherry blossom area and orchid area), Pomelo Fragrance Trail (includes butterfly area, center section cherry blossom area and Haohanbo Resting Station), Xiaoxitou Scenic Area (includes rear section cherry blossom area), and reaches Resting Bridge as the final destination. The trail is around 2.5 KM in a single trip and takes about 50 minutes.

    Magistrate Lin pointed out that he made an effort for the building of Hanlong Trail when he was a legislator for the people of Nantou and has been carefully maintained by the people of Zhanghe Community for many years. Orchids and cherry blossoms can be found along the way, and after serving as the magistrate, it took him a while to “re-discover” this place. In coordination with the extension of Gongye Road for the expansion of Wanglai Park, the county government will further build more comprehensive trail facilities for Hanlong Trail.
