The Nantou Hot Spring Festival is coming soon, featuring three hot spring areas with different activities, November 16
The “2020 Nantou Hot Spring Festival” is about to begin. The county government held a press conference at the hall of the Nantou County Government on the 16th. The Magistrate Lin Ming-chen announced that this autumn and winter, a series of theme activities will be held in the three hot spring areas in Nantou: the Beigang River Hot Spring Festival on November 21st, the Puli Hot Spring Festival on November 28th, and the Dong Bu Hot Spring Festival on December 5th, respectively. People from all over the country are welcome to take a trip, enjoying the hot springs and food in Nantou.
Nantou County is rich in hot springs, tourism, leisure and recreational resources. There are three hot spring areas: Beigang River, Dong Bu and Puli. The hot springs are mainly sodium bicarbonate springs, which are neutral springs that can beautify the skin and promote blood circulation. The Nantou County Government organizes the Hot Spring Festival every winter, advertising local industrial characteristics and successfully increasing the number of tourists to Nantou.
The press conference was hosted by the Magistrate Lin Ming-chen, with the children’s cute and funny bath dance as the opening number. Then Mayor Lin, Mayor of Xinyi Township Chuan Chih-chien and the chairman of the Hot Spring Tourism Association Taiwan Li Chi-tien came to the stage, respectively, to introduce the features of the Hot Spring Festival. The director of the Department of Tourism of Nantou County Government Chen Chih-hsien, the acting Mayor of Ren’ai Township Shih tsun-jen and the chairman of the Beigang Hot Spring Development Association Li Hao-wei all attended the press conference, looking forward to the arrival of the Hot Spring Festival.
