Puli Heng Ji Gong Matsu Temple—2020 The Da Pu City Qingjiao Cultural Festival, a 12-year special dedication ceremony of Da Pu City, was co-organized by all citizens in Puli Township, with their concerted efforts, unity and devotion. As the ritualistic offering of Heng Ji Gong Matsu Temple began at noon on the 6th, the festival entered the most awe-inspiring stage. Magistrate Lin, Ming-Chen attended the ritual of burning incense and distributed divine money on the spot, attracting many people to get it. Magistrate Lin prayed for peace and prosperity for Nantou County, hoping that under the protection of the gods, the drought in Nantou County and Puli Township will be ended as soon as possible and rain will nourish the crops, bringing a rich harvest in agriculture and happiness to the citizens. The ceremony was magnificent and solemn.
Legislator Ma, Wen-Chun, Councilor Lin, Fang-Yu, Huang, Shih-Fang, Puli Town Mayor Liao, Chih-Cheng, Deputy Speaker Pan, Yi-Chuan, and Director Huang, Ming-Hui of the service office, all attended the festival. Magistrate Lin also showed support to the supervisors and staff for their hard work, and Huang, Hsi-Kun, head of the ceremony, also thanked the county government for its assistance.
Magistrate Lin said that today is the most important ceremony in the Qingjiao Festival. He is very happy to participate in the grand event with Puli citizens. With the joint efforts of all citizens, the Qingjiao Festival was a complete success, allowing us to be filled with bliss and gratitude. He appreciated the Heng Ji Gong Matsu Temple and everyone for their hard work in organizing the Qingjiao Festival. He believes that under the protection of so many gods, everyone will have a good harvest in the coming year.
