The county government also expands the programs and drives more civil organizations, public (associations) guilds and citizens to respond through the cooperation of industry, government and university and the establishment of the power saving demonstration area, working together to create a starry mountain city and push the development of Nantou’s tourism industry forward. A total of NT$ 1.2 million was awarded in this contest, offering subsidies to the industry to replace more than 1,200 light bulbs, 120 timers, as well as to improve lampshades and other equipment.
