The Spring Festival holiday is approaching. On the evening of the 4th, County magistrate Lin, Ming-Chen went to Zhongxing New Village, Nantou County Police Bureau and other police stations within the jurisdiction, accompanied by the chief of Nantou County Police Bureau Lu, Hsin-Tsai and the chairman of Friends of the Police Association of Nantou County Chien, Chung-Chi, to show support and give New Year’s gifts to the police, volunteers, civil defense force, and the Neighborhood Watch and Help Team who need to maintain law and order during the holidays. He appreciated them for their sacrifices and dedication on duty in the cold night and reminded everyone to keep warm and keep themselves safe when they are on duty. County magistrate Lin said that Nantou is a major tourist county and that carrying out traffic diversion and public security duties are harder during the Spring Festival holidays. He appreciated the grass-roots police officers, volunteer police, civil defense force and the Neighborhood Watch and Help Team for spending times on assisting the county's transportation and public security work during holidays. He believed that with everyone's efforts and dedication, Nantou will be safe and sound and people will have a good year. In order to keep everyone in Nantou County safe during the Spring Festival holidays, the county government has implemented important festival safety maintenance duties. Chief Lu said that the county government will carry out the supporting activities for spring security work in every district of Nantou simultaneously tonight, showing appreciation to the police and defense force from all over the country for their cooperation. In addition to showing support to the staff who carry out spring security work, the county government also wished everyone a happy Chinese New Year. Lu urged colleagues to pay attention to their physical conditions, rest properly during vacations and pay attention to pandemic prevention measures during vacations and when having dinners with relatives and friends.
