Chen brothers and Liu-Li-Kuang-Pu-Ti-Shu in Taipei City kindly and generously donate ambulances to Nantou County, February 5
A great support for Nantou County’s firefighting! Chen, Yao-Tang and Chen, Tung-Ching, who are brothers and whose family has been living in Nantou for generations and the abbot of Liu-Li-Kuang-Pu-Ti-Shu in Taipei City Chan Tu and her disciple Yen, I-Chun, donated three ambulances to the Nantou County Fire Department. Deputy County magistrate Chen, Cheng-Sheng accepted the donation on behalf of County magistrate Lin, Ming-Chen. The market price of the three ambulances, including the complete set of equipment, amounted to NT$ 11 million.
After receiving the donation, Deputy County magistrate Chen was moved and pointed out that these three brand-new and well-equipped ambulances will be a great help for the police, volunteers and firefighters in Nantou to save more lives in distress. He is very grateful for the kindness of the donors, the Chen brothers and the abbot and her disciple. He also believed that it will inspire more people to do good deeds, bringing together more public forces, and building a more complete social safety network in Nantou County.
The donation ceremony was held at the Nantou County Fire Department on the 5th. Deputy County magistrate Chen, Cheng-Sheng, Chief of the Fire Department Lin, Tsung-Chi, many fire and rescue team members and voluntary firemen attended the ceremony. Deputy County magistrate Chen accepted the donation of the new ambulances from brothers Chen, Yao-Tang and Chen, Tung-Ching and presented certificates of appreciation, ambulance models and fire engine mementos. The abbot of Liu-Li-Kuang-Pu-Ti-Shu Chan Tu and her disciple Yen, I-Chun could not be present for some reason and their donation was handed over by a representative.
