The year of the Ox is going to bring good fortunes! Today is the fourth day of the Lunar New Year. An event to welcome the Gods of Wealth was held at Tun He Temple in Caotun Township, a well-known God of Wealth Temple. A large number of believers poured in early in the morning, praying for the blessings of the God of Wealth. County magistrate Lin, Ming-Chen and Legislator Hsu, Shu-Hua also went to the event of greeting the gods, praying for peace and security for the country, no disasters in all seasons and that everyone makes a good fortune.
In order to prevent the pandemic, Tun He Temple’s Spring Festival event was very low-key. The placing-the-first-incense-stick on New Year’s Eve, the divine money activity on the first and fourth day of New Year, providing food, and the Spring Festival recreational activities were all cancelled. However, believers who walked through the ‘Bridge of the Five Gods of Wealth’ and prayed can receive divine money from the temple. On the fourth day, which is the day of greeting the Gods of Wealth, when more believers went to worship.
County magistrate Lin, Ming-Chen and Legislator Hsu, Shu-Hua attended the event of greeting the Gods of Wealth and were welcomed by the people. When they arrived at Tun He Temple, some people asked for a group photo. County magistrate Lin, Hsu, Shu-Hua and others also walked across the ‘Bridge of the Five Gods of Wealth’ and touched the big gold ingot. They hope that everyone will have a good year and have a good fortune.
