The “Seeing the Good Places in Nantou County ─ the 2020 Nantou County Community Planner Residency Counseling Program” achieves outstanding results, March 27
The promotion of the 2020 Nantou County Community Planner Residency Counseling Program has achieved outstanding results. On the 27th, the county government held an achievement presentation and awards ceremony at the well-renovated Lu-Man-Tan Community Park in Shuangdong Village. Deputy County Magistrate Chen, Cheng-Sheng participated in the whole process on behalf of County Magistrate Lin, Ming-Chen. After carefully reviewing the featured achievements presented by each community, Deputy County Magistrate Chen pointed out that the innovative development of communities in Nantou County is important and fundamental for the continuous development of the tourism capital of Nantou County. He hopes that all communities continue to make progress and inject new vitality into Nantou County's cultural tourism and the development of its various industries.
This achievement presentation was hosted by Deputy County Magistrate Chen and Director Li, Cheng-Wei of the Economic Affairs Department, County Councilor Yeh, Jen-Chuang, Caotun Township Mayor Chien, Ching-Hsien and many community officials participated. Participating communities also set up stalls and presented featured local cultural, creative and agricultural products, as well as the results of community space renovation, allowing the participating communities to observe and exchange ideas with each other and share their growth experience.
Deputy County Magistrate Chen pointed out that the “Seeing the Good Places in Nantou County ─ the 2020 Nantou County Community Planner Residency Counseling Program” was directed by the Construction and Planning Agency of Minister of the Interior and organized by the county government. With the concerted efforts of the central and local governments, a total of NT$ 11 million was raised, which was approved to subsidize 33 participating communities. In addition to training community planners, NT$ 7.7 million was used to hire laborers and purchase materials to help communities renovate public spaces and bring refreshments to lanes, parks and activity sites in the communities. In the presentation, viewers were all amazed by the achievements made by the communities.
