There will be more than 1,000 prizes worth more than NT$ 5 million. In the afternoon of the 22nd, Nantou County Government held a press conference for the FunNantou event in the atrium. After an excellent opening performance by Is’ang Indigenous Culture Arts Group, an Internet celebrity from Nantou, Han Xiu Cao, was invited to sing for the audience. County Magistrate Lin Ming-Chen even carried a suitcase full of paper money to the stage and announced the information on the FunNantou event, including a prize of NT$ 100,000 to be drawn every week and a special prize of totaling NT$ 1 million. After the announcement, County Magistrate Lin, Legislator Hsu Shu-Hua, Han Xiu Cao, and several guests used a “money gun” to strew paper money all over and officially kick off the FunNantou event with cheers of the crowd. According to the county government, the receipt-for-draw-event FunNantou is a 6-month event that encourages people to use stimulus vouchers to enter a draw, which is the longest in Taiwan. People can join the event by registering on the official event website https://funnantou.jil.tw/ with a receipt acknowledging a spending of more than NT$ 200 from October 1 this year to April 30 next year.
