Ruilong Falls, known as the most beautiful waterfall in Zhushan Township, Nantou County, has reopened on January 26 after the park was closed for renovation and improvement. County Magistrate Lin invites people from all over the country to visit Zhushan during the spring holidays to take a walk, watch the waterfalls and have some tea for a healthy New Year. The opening event kicked off with the shocking sound of war drums by the Zhushan Liangguang Lion Dance Troupe. A performance of two lovely dancing lions was presented, wishing the park a successful opening. County Magistrate Lin said in his speech that Ruilong Falls is a scenic spot that he has been actively seeking funding for since he was a legislator. Nearly NT$ 100 million has been used for the improvement of the facilities. To allow more people to feel the magnificent beauty of the waterfalls and valleys, expose themselves to negative ions and walk around in the mountains and forests, after the park was closed for one year, the county government has built a new 49.5-meter-long cross-river viewing platform and a 515-meter-long barrier-free elevated walkway, as well as parking lots, public toilets and other public facilities. Welcome to take a walk in the forest in the Ruilong Falls Park. The Nantou Scenic Area Management Office recommends a spring itinerary during spring holidays. People can take a walk in the Ruilong Falls Park and expose themselves to negative ions of nature on the cross-river viewing platform in the morning, go to Zhushan Old Street at noon to enjoy delicious food, go to Zhushan Zinan Temple in the afternoon to pray for blessings and go to the Nantou Lantern Festival at night to see the lanterns for a wonderful and fulfilling day.
