Interviews from media were rejected as it was emphasized that the investigation is not open to media, but petitions from the Lushan Hot Spring Association and business operators are allowed. Wu Tsai-sheng, head of Jingying Village in Lushan, also questioned on the spot that the central government only stresses the danger of slippery land in Mu'an Mountain, but does not really pay attention to the livelihood of local residents. Deputy County Magistrate Chen Cheng-sheng, who was there the whole process, pointed out that members of the Control Yuan are only concerned about the danger of the slippery slope in the northern Mu'an Mountain, where the Lushan Hot Springs is located. This time, they conducted an on-site inspection on relevant support measures after the county government announced the termination of Lushan Hot Springs and the reconstruction of hotel areas in the protected areas and river areas, as well as the efforts of the county government in developing the hot spring area of the Fuxing Farm with the aim of settling in the Lushan hot spring business operators. Although the county government has tried its best to take into account the general principles of law, costs and concerns of business operators, as well as completing the development of the Fuxing Farm, which won the FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Awards and the Yuan Ye Awards, there are still things to be improved on for sure. The county government will continue to work hard to achieve the greatest goal of ensuring the safety of tourists, the continued operations of the industry and the sustainable development of Fuxing Hot Springs.
