Learning City Workshop in Puli, Nantou Deputy County Magistrate Chen shares experience with Miaoli County Government, March 10
On the 10th, a team of the Miaoli County Government, led by Miaoli deputy county magistrate Teng Kuei-chu, visited Nantou for a two-day learning city project, participated in a learning city exchange workshop at the R-Cube School in Puli Township and had a discussion with the team of Nantou County Government. Chen Cheng-sheng, deputy county magistrate of Nantou County, led the team of the Education Department to greet them. Chen gave his best wishes to Miaoli County for a successful learning city project.
Miaoli County’s learning city project is a two-day visit to Nantou County that started on the 10th. On the morning of the 10th, participants went to Zhushan Township in Nantou to learn about the situation of cultural and creative practices there. In the afternoon, they went to the R-Cube School in Puli Township to exchange views with the team of Nantou County Government. On the 11th, they will go to Zhongxing New Village as planned for an in-depth tour of the nostalgic provincial capital and daily strolling. In the workshop this afternoon, in addition to Deputy County Magistrate Chen, the team of the Education Department, including Director Lu Cheng-wei, Principal Wu Tung-hsing of National Chi Nan University, Principal Liu Yu-cheng of Da’an Elementary School, Principal Chen Chun-hao of Xiufeng Elementary School, Principal Chiu Po-ching of Tonglin Elementary School, and Chang Li-ya, a teaching assistant from the Center for General Education of National Chi Nan University and others also attended.
Deputy County Magistrate Chen said that he welcomes the Miaoli County Government to Nantou. The Ministry of Education’s learning city project aims at promoting lifelong learning and Nantou County has never been absent since the beginning of the project, which was in 2016. Every year, the results of the year’s project are always presented through amazing activities.
