A dream for parents and children, County Magistrate Lin pushes for the commencement of Chu Meng Parent-child Inclusive Park, May 10
Chu Meng Parent-child Inclusive Park in Zhushan Township is expected to be completed by the end of this year! On the morning of the 10th, County Magistrate Lin Ming-chen and Legislator Hsu Shu-hua went to the designated area of Chu Meng Parent-child Inclusive Park, where trees and weeds were still untrimmed and conducted an inspection. County Magistrate Lin said that the county government has raised NT$ 50 million and acquired about 1 hectare of land with the cooperation of Zhushan Township Office. The planning has been undertaken. The construction is expected to be outsourced in July or August and be completed by the end of this year, making it the first large-scale parent-child inclusive park in the Zhushan area.
County Magistrate Lin said that even though it’s next to the First Public Cemetery of Zhushan Township, the base of Chu Meng Parent-child Inclusive Park (named by Zhushan Township Office) isn’t a burial ground but a broad green land. To make it more convenient to park near the Chu Meng Parent-child Inclusive Park and in response to the cemetery relocation planning, a large parking lot will be built nearby. In the future, the relocated cemetery will be cleared for diverse purposes. In addition, Kuei Lin Section No.564, separated from the park by Dazhi Rd., is a residential area, which is suitable for youth housing projects. It can be said that with a new parent-child park, the surrounding areas will be urbanized and revitalized.
