On the 13th, the Nantou County Government held the commendation event of the 2022 Police Day at the auditorium of the Police Bureau, which was presided over by County Magistrate Lin Ming-chen. In the event, a total of 18 exemplary officers and outstanding employees received awards. County Magistrate Lin showed appreciation to the police for their hard work and contribution to Nantou’s public security and traffic enforcement. He reminded everyone to take good care of their health amid the pandemic. County Magistrate Lin said as a big tourist county, Nantou relies on the police for advance preparations and traffic control at many popular tourist attractions and large-scale events. Due to the pandemic, the police have to help with home quarantine or isolation, epidemic investigation and disinformation detection while handling their daily tasks, making them much busier at work. Lin urged the police to continue with their good work based on three aspects, including public security, traffic control and public services to enhance the service quality and image of the county government.
