Xitou forest journey is available officially by connecting to the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Xitou Route B service, which sets out from Changhua. On the 15th, witnessed by County Magistrate Lin Ming-chen, Legislator Hsu Shu-hua and other distinguished guests, the service is available officially. County Magistrate Lin gave thanks to Legislator Hsu and the Tourism Bureau, MOTC for their support in bringing Taiwan Tourist’s shuttle service to Nantou, which is convenient and affordable. Lin hopes that the service will attract more tourists to visit Nantou and boost the economy. The opening ceremony of the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Xitou Route B was attended by County Magistrate Lin Ming-chen, Legislator Hsu Shu-hua, Chief Chuang Ching-chen of the Domestic Tourism Division, Tourism Bureau, MOTC, Director Wei Wu-sheng of the Taichung Motor Vehicles Office, County council members Wu Jui-fang, Yu Hao, Huang Tung-hao, Tsai Meng-e, Lugu Township Mayor Chiu Ju-ping and other distinguished guests. County Magistrate Lin and Legislator Hsu also gave a big welcome to the very first group of tourists who used the Shuttle Xitou Route B service by giving them exquisite souvenirs. They took photos together and called out the slogan “Traveling from Nantou to Xitou by Taiwan Tourist Shuttle.” Lin said that to improve Nantou’s transportation facilities and increase tourists' demand for diversified and convenient travel, with the vigorous assistance of Legislator Hsu, the Nantou County Government has actively strived for the inclusion of Changhua County Bus Route 15 to the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Xitou Route B service, which runs between Changhua Erlin, Beidou, the HSR Changhua Station and Xitou, greatly enhancing the convenience and choice for people from the central and southern regions to travel to Xitou.
