The press conference for the “2022 Nantou Hot Spring Season•Joyful Hot Spring Tour” was held at the main hall at the ground floor of the Nantou County Government Building on 22th September. Chen Cheng-Sheng, Deputy County Magistrate announced the opening of the festival on 24th September which saw the participation of Puli Fu Hsing Hot Spring, Bei Gang River Hot Spring, and Dong Pu Hot Spring. The three theme hot spring resorts will jointly organize hot spring baths for better health and hikers. All are welcome to Nantou to share in the joy.

The Spring Season of this year will kick off with the “Puli Hot Spring Season - Hiking for Joy” event on 24th September, followed by the Bei Gang Hot Spring Carnival held at Atayal Resort on 1st October, with the “Yushan Passion, Dongpu Love” signature event presented by Dong Pu Hot Spring Resort on 8th October. Also present at the press conference were Chien Ching-Fa, Director of the Sun Moon Lake Administration of the Tourism Bureau at Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Li Chi-Tien, Chairman of The Taiwan Hot Spring Association, and Li Hao-Wei, Chairman of Nantou County Beigang River Hot Spring Tourism Development Association.

According to Deputy County Magistrate Chen, it is now the Autumn season as the Summer heat has faded. The series of activities in the Nantou Hot Spring Season will start on 24th September. The 3 major hot spring resorts of the county are the Beigang River Hot Spring Resort, Dongpu Hot Spring Resort, and the Puli Fu Hsing Hot Spring Resort which was recently built by the county government. Each hot spring zone is surrounded by scenic spots, and visitors may indulge in the mountain and forest in the neighboring zone then enjoy a soothing dip in the hot spring.
