Magistrate Lin expressed that, according to people’s vote, the childbirth benefit tops the most of all county government’s policies. If the financial conditions allow, he announced that he plans to raise the childbirth benefit to NT$30 thousand next year. He expects the county government team to keep up with its good work to accomplish further.

Inaugurated for a year, Magistrate Lin feels that he is competing with time every single day. In the past year, the county government accomplished many things, such as working as volunteers in the community. This allows him to know more whether the works promoted by the county government are accomplished in the regions or not. In addition, he takes every opportunity to show his respect to the volunteers of communities. In this year, Yingnan community has won the Excellent Award in the Communities Evaluation in the county. It excelled in the aspects of concern, charity dining hall, community development, and more. All these are the contributions of volunteers.

Led by Magistrate Lin, the department heads of the county government worked as volunteers in the communities and grew vegetables at the charity farm. He believes, the government is in the “service sector”.     Later Magistrate Lin announced the ranking of the most popular government policies, among which the childbirth benefit topped the list; the second was free bus rides for the elderly. Magistrate Lin expressed that with the survey conducted in his Facebook page, there were 2732 votes, among which most of them voted the childbirth benefit at NT$10 thousand. He announced that if the financial conditions of the county government allow, he plans to raise the benefit to NT$30 thousand next year.

To display the accomplishment of governing, Magistrate Lin and the elderly people in the community hung spotlight policy cards on a Christmas tree to celebrate the festival in advance.
