    On January 28, county government has established a joint applications center on the first floor of the administration building. Magistrate Lin Ming-chen hosted the unveiling ceremony and announced that the joint applications center will receive 8 major types of applications through a single window in a joint-reviewing manner to shorten the application time. After the unveiling of the board, a case review meeting was summoned, inviting applicants and agents to attend. The agents expressed gratitude and expressed positive view towards the high efficiency of county government.

    Magistrate Lin expressed that he has requested to establish the joint application center with the hope to shorten the time and procedures for processing, return, and request for additional documents. In addition, it also renders reviewing process transparent, helping agents and businesses to quicken the process of all sorts of applications in startup. It is believed that it will promote incentives in investments.

    Li Cheng-wei, director of Economic Affairs Department explicated the process and operation procedures of joint reviewing of all sorts of applications when reviewing the first application. All forms are put on the internet for the convenience of people, who can download the forms needed for further references. It protects not only the rights of people but also promotes the government’s efficiency and avoids any illegal matters.

    Regarding the operation of the joint application center, the related authorities will serve through a single window. First, they will examine if the required documents for the applications are supplied or not. If any applications are the concern of related authorities, they and the applicants will be notified of the joint reviewing time once the applications are accepted. The joint reviewing date will also be scheduled. At present, the 8 application items are the applications for construction license for public use, building use permit, application for permit of production and marketing facilities for farm produce (non-slope land), hotel registration, guesthouse registration, preliminary review of business plant for non-urban land conversion into recreational land, and the preliminary review of religious business plan non-urban land conversion classification and non-urban land classification conversion for religious use. It is expected to shorten the time of reviewing time of application cases.

    During the unveiling ceremony, various county councilors, including Chen Shu-hui, Liao Chih-cheng, Wu Kuo-chang, Tseng Chen-yen, Chien Chun-ting, Shih Ching-shui, Liao Wen-hsien, Lin Fang-yu, Chen Han-li, Hsu Su-hsia, and many other guests attended to witness this moment.
