    The first county Childcare Resource Center (CCRC) held an inauguration ceremony on April 2 at the County Women and Children Affairs Building. DM Mr. Chen Cheng-Sheng said welcome to parents, and he invited them to bring their kids aged 0 to 6 to the center and experience the fun of using the interactive facilities to share this happy parenting moment.

    DM Chen said County Magistrate Mr. Lin Ming-Chen performed Social Accountability with much enthusiasm. Lin went to LD (Labor Dept.) to start his planning on childcare resource center. He also chose to hold the inauguration ceremony on the Children's Day Eve. It meant a lot more than that. It also meant the county welfare policies of women and children reached a new milestone. Future childcare service business will start from the business of the main township/city office first. If rural countries do not have sufficient resources, the government will respond by providing a remote train as the resource to fix it through action. It will give childcare support to parents and provide some spaces for interaction so that kids can grow and learn with their companion. It can reduce parent’s pressure for childcare.

    County Babysitters Academy Chairman Shih Hui-Yi said this center was divided into two parts through planning as you may find it in the active area and the static area. It provides suitable spaces for kids aged 0 to 6 to do the activities. Trained childcare personnel will teach the kids how to do parenting activities. They will teach kids how to play with toys and make reservation for books. They will help the main caregiver, father-to-be and mother-to-be by providing them childcare, screening tests for children, and other such services like the care consultation. The center will provide qualified babysitters to hardworking parents with in-home care agency service to share the burden of childcare as well.

    The inauguration ceremony got the show started with joyful performance coming from the kids who studied at Green Kindergarten. DM Chen invited all the guests to unveil the nameplate at the center. People squeezed in the ceremony to watch the show. After that, DM Chen joined the kids to experience and played the sensory game led by trained childcare personnel. During the process while playing the game, there was laughter all over the scene.

    The center was located in the county CCRC. We accept reservations from you. The reservation line is open from 9 am to 12 pm and 1:30 pm to 5pm every Tuesday to Saturday. We will arrange a 30-minute break for each parenting activity every morning and afternoon. We also reserve an opening time for parents to use the teaching props (or toys) at their sole discretion.
