2022 Central Taiwan Produce Marketing and Horticulture Expo unveiled in Changhua on 24th September , September 8
The 2022 Central Taiwan Produce Marketing and Horticulture Expo was held at Xizhou Park, Changhua County from 24th September till 2nd October. A press conference to promote the event was held at the main hall at the ground floor of the Changhua County Government Building on 8th September. Hung Jui-Chih, Secretary-General of the Nantou County Government, Wang Huei-Mei, Magistrate of Changhua County, Teng Kuei-Chu, Miaoli County Deputy Magistrate, Chen Po-Hung, Secretary-General of the Bureau of Agriculture, Taichung City Government, Wei Sheng-Te, Director of the Department of Agriculture at Yunlin County were present and jointly promoted the event. Secretary-General Hung invited the public to the expo for good quality produce and also encouraged everyone to purchase Nantou gourmet tea for their enjoyment at home.

The Central Taiwan Agriculture Expo, which has been held for years, started out with Taichung, Changhua, and Nantou counties.With Miaoli and Yunlin counties having also joined the Expo, a wide array of quality produce from central Taiwan’s 5 counties is presented to the public. Chunghua National Bonsai Association, Hua Ya Stone Sculpture Association, Mingdao University, and the Industrial Technology Research Institute also joined the exhibition with bonsai culture, stone sculpture, agricultural technology, and pesticide spraying UAVs.

Secretary-General Hung expressed his gratitude to the meticulous arrangement and planning undertaken by the Changhua County Government. This year, Nantou County also specifically coordinated the “Tasteful Nantou Pavilion” exhibition to present to the public the excellent produce from the farmers’ associations across 13 townships and villages, and from the Young farmers of the county, which also includes high mountain teas, black teas from Sun Moon Lake, pineapple, banana, passion fruit, pitaya, high mountain green vegetables, and plums. They also promoted “eating locally and in season”, thereby providing a great variety of quality and safe produce for visitors.
