The 4th County Magistrate Meeting of the Central Taiwan Regional Governance Platform and the “Illuminating Central Taiwan Trade Tours” joint marketing event was unveiled in Miaoli County on 14th September. Hsu Yao-Chang, Miaoli County Magistrate, Lin Ming-Chen, Nantou County Magistrate, Wang Huei-Mei, Changhua County Magistrate, Yang Wen-Ke, Hsinchu County Magistrate, Chang Li-Shan, Yunlin County Magistrate, Ling-hu Jung-ta, Taichung City Deputy Mayor, Chen Shu-Hui, Chiayi City Deputy Magistrate, jointly announced the result of the collaboration. The collaboration in central Taiwan yielded splendid results in governance.

In conjunction with the Small and Medium Enterprises of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the 7 counties and cities engaged in joint marketing with the 8 outstanding trade circles subsidized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs under the “2022 Road Show Competition”. They are the “Beipu Enchanting Trade Circle”, “Nanzhuang Hill Garden Brand Trade Circle”, “Liberty Road Trade Circle”, “Tianjin Road Garment Trade Circle”, “Tianwei Highway Garden Trade Circle”, “Chung Hsing Village Trade Circle”, “Huwei Enchanting Trade Circle”, and “Chiayi City Culture Trade Circle”.

Lin Ming-Chen, Nantou County Magistrate, highly praised the outstanding performance of the joint governance of the 7 counties/cities. According to Lin, through the collaborative mechanisms of the regional platform, complementary effects could be achieved in development of policy. In addition, the full cooperation in the areas of tourist travel, marketing promotion of different sectors when put together allowed for the result of the 8 major trade circles, so that other Taiwanese could see the charm of the trade circles in central Taiwan. He welcomed all from Taiwan to visit the 8 major trade circles to enjoy good quality products and services of the 7 counties and cities in central Taiwan.
