On November 2, Nantou County government celebrated the “2022 Cleaning Staff Festival” at Nandou Wedding Hall. All the staff of the county celebrated the big day together on the day that commemorated their contribution. Accompanied by Director Li I-Shu of the Nantou County Environmental Protection Bureau, Magistrate Lin Ming-Chen attended the banquet and hosted the ceremony. He presented his appreciation of the contributions of the cleaning staff working at the 13 towns and townships in the county for their selfless dedication to collect the garbage of the people in the county every day and maintain the cleanliness of the county. Mayor Chien Ching-Hsien of Caotun Town, Mayor Chang Tzu-Hsiao of Renai Township, Mayor Liu Chi-Fan of Yuchi Township also attended the ceremony. Commander Shih Sheng-chun of the Central District Inspector Corps of the Environmental Protection Bureau and Councilor Chang Chia-Che also presented their gratitude during their brief visit.

“The cleaning staff working at the first line, you have been working so hard, thank you,” Magistrate Lin said. Nantou is a county of tourism. The cleaning staff of the different district offices work so hard by walking among the lanes and alleys to clean up the environment dedicatedly. They clean up the domestic garbage, maintain the cleanliness of the county and promote the environmental protection works devotedly to provide the people with a clean, friendly and comfortable environment. Their contributions have been incredible.
