Nantou Job Expo was held. Magistrate encouraged people to seek jobs of their preferences, November 19.
Sponsored by the Nantou County Government, the “Nantou Job Expo in the Year of Tiger, 2022” was held on November 19 at the Nantou Conference Center. It attracted about one thousand people to seek job placements there. Magistrate Lin Ming-Chen attended to host the opening ceremony and presented the certificates to the co-sponsors. He encouraged job seekers to try courageously, giving themselves the opportunities to find their dream jobs.”

Magistrate Lin expressed that in this year’s job expo, there were many businesses employing, including the manufacturing industry, food industry, electronics, sightseeing and leisure industries, tourism and service industries, medical services and the army, with more than 50 businesses such as Largan, G.P. Group, Swancor, Lotus Pharmaceutical, Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, etc, providing more than 2000 job opportunities at the monthly wage of as high as NT$ 90,000. More than 80% of them were businesses or in Nantou branches of renowned in Nantou that provided job opportunities in the local area. He hoped job seekers to take this opportunity to find jobs in their home town.

Magistrate Lin also pointed out that the Nantou County Government is actively planning to establish five major industrial parks, including Nantou Wanglai Industrial Park, Puli Feature Micro Industrial Park, Caotun Handicraft Park, Zhushan Bamboo Craft Industrial Park and Puli Fuxing Hot Spring Park. It is estimated to provide more than 8,000 job opportunities with the annual income of NT$10 billion. This plan is made with the idea of providing local businesses opportunities to be upgraded into “6-star businesses,” establishing an all-round industry chain. Constructing local businesses, it is expected to attract brilliant professional talents to return to their hometown or move to Nantou to boost the local industry, allowing it to develop sustainably.
