On February 6th, before the Lunar New Year, Nantou County Mayor Hsu ShuHua and Yunlin County Mayor Chang LiShan partnered up to muscle into the Lunar New Year market, endorsed Tasting Nantou (品味南投) and Yunlin Goods (雲林良品) to promote agricultural products through live streaming, and shared the gourmet dishes of Mercuries F&B Co., Ltd. (三商餐飲) to emphasize the wonderful local taste.

Before the Mid-Autumn Festival last year, Nantou County Mayor Hsu ShuHua and Yunlin County Mayor Chang LiShan teamed up to jointly market Mid-Autumn Festival gifts from both counties. They made a turnover of NT$200,000 in 20 minutes, making them the best influencers. Afterwards, both county mayors partnered up again for webcast before this Lunar New Year. They endorsed the fresh vegetables and agricultural products from Nantou and Yunlin, which are capable for turning into detectable Lunar New Year’s dishes. Furthermore, Mercuries F&B uses these high-quality products to make gourmet dishes. 

“Nantou and Yunlin are both important agricultural towns. In the live stream, we shared the gourmet dishes of Mercuries F&B that uses fresh meat and vegetables from Nantou and Yunlin as ingredients.” County Mayor Hsu said, “In addition to the high-quality meat from Nantou that is made into its Taiwanese pork chops and deep fried pork steaks, Mercuries F&B uses cucumbers, mushrooms and king oyster mushrooms from Nantou, and cabbage, pak choy, green onions, and pickled mustard green from Yunlin to present the appetizing local taste.” 

According to County Mayor Chang, the business between Mercuries F&B and Yunlin County has gone on for more than 40 years. Yunlin County is an important town for vegetable, fruit and livestock products while Mercuries F&B is well-known in the food industry. The rice Mercuries F&B uses comes from the farmlands along the Jhuoshuei River. She and Nantou County Mayor Hsu ShuHua recommend not only Tasting Nantou and Yunlin Goods, but also Mercuries F&B, which uses the ingredients from both counties to make wonderful local taste.
