Located by the side of the Chenyoulan River and at the convergence of various valleys, Dong Pu Hot Springs prides itself on its clear waters. Spring waters spring out naturally from river valleys and gaps between rocks and sandstone layers, presenting a foggy landscape of hot steam. The flowing of the spring water is further linked with local hostels and hotels, enabling guests to enjoy hot spring spas indoors.
Dong Pu Hot Spring is a weak-alkaline carbonic acid salt spring with water temperatures of approximately 53oC.
Its water is available for bathing as well as drinking. Some say that the water has therapeutic effects for skin beautification. Thus-many womenl like to invite their friends to join them on hot-spring spa trips.,
