Yushan National Park is at 3,952 meters above sea level. In the Park, there are Ecological Conservation Zone, Historical Relics Preservation Zone and Special Scenic Spots Zone, etc. Because of the peculiar mountains and geological landscapes, the magnificent snowy scene, sea of clouds, and high-mountain pasture etc. can be seen here. The recreational resources are extremely plentiful here, including Ta Ta Chia, Nan An, the Tien Chih Recreational Area which is under planning, scenic spots of Dong Pu, New Central East-West Highway, Batong Guan Pasture, Batong Guan Ancient Trail, Yu Shan, Southern East-West Highway and Nan An Waterfall etc. [Simple Reminder: Before entering Yushan, don’t forget to bring your hiking amenities, and apply for Mountain Entrance Permit beforehand!

The suitable climate and soil has made Hsinyi Hsiang pride itself with the greatest harvest of green plums in Taiwan, occupying 80% of the whole Taiwan’s harvest.
Among which, Fong Guei Dou is the most famous place of plum farming.
From the period between Christmas and Chinese New Year, plum blossoms bloom almost everywhere. When spring comes, the whole area is covered by pale white flowers and light green leaves. The scene seems like a snowy paradise.
In recent years, Hsinyi Hsiang Agricultural Association promotes the ”Trip of Fong Guei Dou Plum Feast,” and holds the competitions of Mr.
And Miss Plum, increasing a lot of fun to the trip of plum blossom appreciation.

Located by the side of the Chenyoulan River and at the convergence of various valleys, Dong Pu Hot Springs prides itself on its clear waters. Spring waters spring out naturally from river valleys and gaps between rocks and sandstone layers, presenting a foggy landscape of hot steam. The flowing of the spring water is further linked with local hostels and hotels, enabling guests to enjoy hot spring spas indoors.

Dong Pu Hot Spring is a weak-alkaline carbonic acid salt spring with water temperatures of approximately 53oC.

 
Its water is available for bathing as well as drinking. Some say that the water has therapeutic effects for skin beautification. Thus-many womenl like to invite their friends to join them on hot-spring spa trips.,
