Li Yung Temple
Located on Zhaojing Mountain, Li Yung Temple is also called Grandpa Wang Temple or Baoan Temple. In 1972, a popular television soap opera called“Emperor Jiaqing Traveling Taiwan” took this temple as the shooting location, attracting many worshippers from all parts of Taiwan. It was said to be an exceptionally grand occasion.
There are two dragon columns erected at the front hall of the imposing and magnificent Li Yung Temple, and two castle-like pavilions built at both sides of the temple. In about one kilometer’s distance is a cliff at a depth of 30 meters. Facing Pine and Cypress Mountain, vewing Jhuoshui River downwards, having Mingchu Bridge in the northeastern side and Changyun Bridge in the southwestern side, Li Yung Temple has fabulous scenes all around.
